Blokker is making an entire shelf available so that the complete range of BRAUZZ. is accessible. The range includes surface cleaners, toilet cleaners, dishwasher tablets, and laundry strips. The originally Flemish brand started in 2021 and has already convinced more than 70,000 households to switch to their sustainable alternatives. The company also aims to further expand its growth in the Netherlands in the coming years. This first retail partnership fits seamlessly within this strategy.

Sustainable consumption

BRAUZZ. has a clear mission; to make sustainable consumption possible, the company develops innovative products that do not compromise on price, quality, and ease of use. The growth strategy of BRAUZZ. is ambitious. By 2025, the company aims to have saved more than 1 million plastic packages. Ruben Renaer, co-owner of BRAUZZ.: "After winning the Best Sustainable Product of the Year 2022/2023 by the Dutch Consumer Election, interest from Dutch retail also grew. This is how we came into contact with Blokker. We are extremely excited about the collaboration we are now starting with this beautiful retail chain that will only strengthen our brand awareness and products!"

Jeanine Holscher, CEO Blokker: "We are also incredibly happy with the collaboration. We are proud to be the first retailer in the Netherlands to sell the more sustainable cleaning line from BRAUZZ. This offers our customers a more environmentally conscious alternative and contributes to making households more sustainable, an important mission for us."

A sustainable planet: literally and figuratively

Ruben Renaer explains: "With our sustainable household products, we literally and figuratively make the world a lot cleaner. Traditional cleaning products are packaged in plastic disposable packaging and consist of 90 percent water. All that unnecessary transport of water weighs and costs a lot. The plastic packaging goes straight into the trash after use. These habits globally increase the waste and climate issues. Our recyclable packaging is 40 times lighter to transport than a filled plastic bottle, which consists of 90 percent water. This way, we can package and transport everything much more efficiently. And at the end of the life cycle, there is no plastic bottle left, just a small bag or cardboard box. It is incredibly motivating to see that so many people support our sustainable story. By choosing a sustainable product, you really do make a difference."

Since its inception, BRAUZZ. customers have already saved 470,442 plastic disposable bottles and 331,399 liters of unnecessary water transport, resulting in a reduction of 382,905 kg of CO2 emissions.
