Forgetting what is truly important
Björn wrote the bestseller: Ready Every Day at 3:00 PM in 2021. Ironically, he had often been working late into the night in recent years. He was always busy but did not necessarily feel satisfied. Like many others, he thought there would be time for himself and for the people around him later. But when his mother passed away, his life was suddenly shaken and brought to a standstill. This moment of loss forced Björn to pause and reflect. He realized that he had been focused for years on doing more and filling his schedule. The life he had begun to lead no longer gave him satisfaction. He realized that he had forgotten what was truly important.
Bringing satisfaction back into your life
Many people today get caught up in the busyness and hustle of the day. We hardly make space to consciously reflect on what is truly important to us. As a result, we lose meaning and satisfaction in our lives and work. Björn also noticed that he was no longer able to engage in the things that energized him; the things that were valuable to him slowly faded into the background. After a difficult period, he realized it was time to change course and take back control of his life. Björn decided to take action: he read dozens of books, got coaching, listened to hundreds of hours of podcasts, and interviewed people from whom he hoped to learn something.

Questions that arose during this journey included:
What gives me satisfaction?
Do I find this important or is it merely a need/request from someone else?
What energizes me?
Through practical advice and assignments in this book, the reader can answer these questions for themselves. Here’s a hint: being constantly busy is not beneficial for your health, nor does it necessarily make you more effective or productive. What does contribute to a healthier and more productive life? Engaging in what is truly important to you.
In this book, Björn shares practical tips, insights, and assignments. He teaches you:
To set priorities
To deal with distractions
To structure and plan goals
To make space for what is important
To manage your mental battery well
Björn: "I no longer wanted to do 'everything' and go on endlessly. I wanted to focus on what I found important and what energized me. For this, I would have to rediscover where my heart truly lies. This meant making difficult choices, delegating tasks, and restructuring my life"
A book for more work and personal happiness
Björn now knows deep down that he is engaged every day with the right things, and he wants to convey this through his book, podcast, and articles to others. "It would have been nice if I had had a book to learn all this back then," says Björn. "But I am glad that I have now written such a book myself. I would like to share this with people who also feel that they are being too much led by the hustle of the day. So that we can work together on what is truly important." says Björn.
