In his book 'Everything is Selling', entrepreneur Jan Bloemhof challenges you: how well do you really sell? But he does more. He also generously shares all the techniques he has applied over the past fifty years.

According to Bloemhof, most sellers have more potential than they show. Moreover, it is certainly not all about talent, the author argues. Being good is primarily a matter of self-control, studying, applying, and practicing, practicing, and practicing again.

Advice for sellers

In his book, the author positions himself as a mentor. Those who take his tips and advice to heart will, according to him, gradually become even better in their profession and grow into what Bloemhof calls a Top Of Mind seller: the seller that people think of first when they need a product.

In the thirty-five concise chapters of his book, Bloemhof leaves no aspect of the sales process unaddressed. He emphasizes that it is crucial for you as a seller to be good at all these components of the profession.

Close that deal

This way, he teaches you how to improve your perception, how to gain more control over your thoughts and behavior, how to set and achieve goals, but also how to handle rejection smoothly because in this profession, you will indeed be rejected more often than you actually close a deal. And finally, you will of course learn what the moment is to close that deal.
