The Viadesk Platform consists of Viadesk itself, intended for project-based collaboration, and three optional modules: Viadesk School, Consult, and Experts. The names are quite self-explanatory. Viadesk School is an electronic learning environment. With Viadesk Consult, you structure consultation processes within or between healthcare institutions, and Viadesk Experts is an interactive knowledge work, intended to actively utilize hidden knowledge in a company.

Then Viadesk itself. It is particularly pleasant that the package is simply free for a group of up to five users. So everything you read here, you can also try out yourself. You would first come to an overview screen where all the project groups you participate in are listed. In our case, there is only one.
Behind the group names lies an Outlook-like environment, with inbox and outbox, a shared calendar and address book, and a chat option.
Collaboration
Of course, there is more. Through a dropdown menu, you can easily upload and share folders and files with others. Different versions can also be kept track of. Very handy for placing meeting documents online or keeping status reports. Working live on the same file is not possible, but usually, that is not practical either.
Typical forum elements, such as the ability to open a discussion thread or conduct a poll, are also present. You can also blog away nicely. The only thing we miss is the ability to hold online meetings.
Anywhere and anytime
With traffic jams getting longer and colleagues and partners coming from all over the country, it is not convenient to be tied to a building. Especially if you work a lot in small project groups, a virtual office is a powerful time and cost saver.
